FAQ
Trademark monitoring questions, answered
What does China trademark monitoring cost?
The standalone service is $399 for 12 months. The first 12 months of basic monitoring are included with the Standard and Registered or Refunded registration plans.
Does monitoring include opposition?
No. Monitoring identifies and explains a concerning filing. Opposition, negotiation or other enforcement work is quoted separately after a case assessment.
How often are new filings checked?
The checking rhythm is confirmed in the service scope. New applications and publications are reviewed within the selected classes rather than every class of the Nice system.
Can you monitor Chinese translations of my brand?
Yes. The watch list can include the English name, Chinese characters, transliterations and the visual logo elements that matter commercially.
Is monitoring useful before my application registers?
Yes. Monitoring can identify conflicting later filings while an application is pending. The type of action available depends on the status of both marks.
What happens if a conflict is found?
You receive the filing details and a short assessment. If the case needs opposition, negotiation, evidence collection or another procedure, we provide a separate scope and quote.
