  • Filing materials. If you order a trademark or design patent service, we may collect passport scans, certificates of incorporation, logos, product images, and signed powers of attorney. These are needed to prepare and submit official filings.
  • Technical data. If analytics is enabled, we may collect anonymized usage data such as pages visited and device type.

2. How we use your data

  • To reply to inquiries and prepare quotes
  • To prepare, translate and coordinate official filings with CNIPA-registered partner agencies
  • To send progress updates about your matter
  • To comply with legal and professional obligations

We never sell your personal data.

3. Who we share data with

  • Licensed partner agencies that prepare and submit official filings. They receive only what is required for your matter.
  • Payment processors (such as PayPal or card networks) when you pay. Their privacy policies apply to payment data.
  • Authorities such as CNIPA, where required by law or by the filing itself.

4. Where data is processed

We are based in China. Data you submit may be processed in China, which has its own data protection laws. By using our services you understand that your data may be processed outside your country of residence.

5. How long we keep data

  • Inquiries and quotes: up to 12 months after the last contact.
  • Filing materials: for the duration of the matter plus the period required by law, then deleted or returned.
  • Financial records: as long as required by tax law.

We restrict access to personal data to the people and partner agencies who need it for your matter, use encrypted communication where available, and do not retain documents longer than necessary.
